Pixel & Pixie Retreat | Lakefront 5BR Pool Villa | 3 Kings + Game Room

Positive: The location of Paradise Palms is great and on first entry, the home was welcoming with the lights on and soft music playing through the TV's. Being next to the water and watching the wildlife was lovely first think and later on in the evening. The beds are comfy. With a few tweaks, this villa has the potential to be an amazing villa. Negative: We arrived at 4pm after travelling for nearly 15 hours and doing a grocery shop on the way so we could just chill for the remainder of the afternoon, however, when we arrived, the cleaner was still there and then we received a message to say due to previous guests, there was a delay in getting the villa ready so we would need to wait. This wasn't a long wait though as we didnt see the message and entered as soon as the cleaner left. Around 8pm that evening, a gentleman arrived to install a new washer. We've no problem with that at all but as we had arrived from the UK and were all exhausted, this really was late for us but we appreciate that a nee washer was needed. The biggest issue here for me is that we had no idea anyone was coming. Some communication from the management company would have been more ideal. The pool area and lania area need a really good clean. A lot of the netting is green. I know it is a tropical climate but we have been visiting florida and staying in villas for 25 years and never had one this green and dirty. The dryer was not working and I notified them and someone arrived to check this within 24 hours and it was fixed 2 days later which was no problem. Again, just a lack of communication as to the arrival of workman to carry out the maintenance needed. The biggest issue we had, which we did advise if but nothing changed, was the WiFi. This was so bad to the point that we couldn't even watch TV as you would get 5 minutes connection and then 10 minutes of it trying to re-connect. The resort clubhouse and pool area were way better as was everywhere else. It really was the worst we have ever had. A few tweaks would make this an amazing rental but the WiFi for my family was a deal breaker. We weren't on holiday to sit in watching TV or be sat on our phones but in this day and age, it is essential in life to.have good connection for.your devices.

Fantastic location which was beautifully maint Positive: This was the most amazing spacious property we have rented while holidaying in Orlando,….ever…and we have been visiting yearly for the past 20 years. It was immaculate and clean, beautiful crisp clean linen and the most comfortable mattresses. Every last detail was carefully thought out and we couldn’t have wished for better. An absolutely amazing villa with fantastic facilities in an exceptionally well maintained gated resort with an equally magnificent club house pool etc. Negative: There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property

Very well maintained home. Has everything that you need. Will definitely return. Positive: House is extremely spacious!!! Glad that it was located at the end. We were able to have quick access to the pond walking trail. The decor was nice and the couches/beds were extremely comfortable. The personal pool can in handy after the clubhouse closed. The outdoor space is very spacious & nice. We didn’t use the grill but it was a nice touch. Negative: WiFi kept going offline.

The place was exceptional, and the host was great communicating with us! Positive: The place was kept in a pristine condition, and it is close to both Disney Hollywood Studio and Magic kingdom! Negative: We liked everything about the house! We would definitely like to stay at the place again whenever we go back to Disney World!

If we could give it an 11 we would Positive: If you want a perfect 5 star villa for your holiday in Orlando then this is the one you need. Huge house, spotlessly clean and contained all the amenities you would need including 5 bedrooms, massive kitchen, upstairs TV lounge, games room, pool and outside deck area for relaxing. The resort itself felt very secure with it being a gated community with security patrols also. Clubhouse was great too with its heated pool, coffee shop/cafe serving Starbucks coffee and the bar/grill area. Disney parks within 20 minutes along various routes. Communication with the owners was excellent. Definitely would return to stay there again. Negative: Nothing.
